2009 Registration for New Families will begin April 1, 2009.


We are a secular home school group that utilizes professional instructors and small class sizes to support your home school curriculum.

Who: We are a group for home educators of all faiths, beliefs, and theories who want a non-judgmental and accepting environment in which their kids receive high quality, challenging classes taught by experts.


What: We offer a la carte classes for Preschool through 9th grade. Our classes are offered at 4 levels and are limited to 15 students in a class. You may also participate in many quality field trips and service projects. Parents stay on-site and can gather for snacks and conversation. Parents of students ages 11+ may choose our drop-off option (parent not required to be present).


When: Thursday afternoons from 11:00-4:30pm Sept. through May. You may attend as much or as little of the day as you want. Junior High students have a drop-off option.


Where: Presbyterian Church of the Apostles 701 E. 130th St. Burnsville MN


Why: We are a group that offers choice and quality. We strive for a supportive, non-judgmental environment. This could be what you've been looking for!


Tuition and Fees: We require a $75 registration fee ($50 if registering prior to April 15) per family, in addition to tuition. We require a signed agreement for membership, release of liability, behavior contract, and medical form. We also require that members serve as class assistants. Tuition is non-refundable unless the class is cancelled by the instructor or the co-op. To access registration forms, click here.


Mission: We are a welcoming group, focused on serving all home educated students learning at grade levels K-9 and their families. A nursery area and pre-school are available for younger siblings. Our format and course offerings will provide families with the ability to choose activities that meet their interests. We aim to enrich education through the use of classes taught by qualified instructors, many field trip opportunities & social times.


Our mission is to:


  1. ✦provide group rates for a variety of subjects at four learning levels - ages 3-5, ages 5-7 (no reading/writing required), ages 8-10 (moderate reading/writing required, some homework), and Junior High/ages 11+( significant reading/writing and homework)

  2. ✦bring experts to you rather than you going to them

  3. ✦foster friendships between parents and between kids

  4. ✦allow members to choose which subjects to enroll in and pay for only those

  5. ✦provide enrichment activities and social time for parents
